Whether you’re an audiophile searching for the perfect sound or a connoisseur of fine craftsmanship, our workshop invites you to experience the magic of Bottega Audio. Discover the perfect blend of form and function, where each speaker is not just a piece of audio equipment but a work of art in its own right.

Welcome to the Bottega Audio workshop, where passion meets precision, and every speaker tells a story of Italian excellence.

We also work with many local artisans, small workshops, medium and large factories producing everything from paper, leather, wood, aluminium, steel, carbon-fibre, etc. Many of those are renowned suppliers and part makers for world famous Italian sports vehicle brands such as: Ferrari, Ducati, Lamborghini, Maserati and Pagani, thus ensuring superb quality of their parts.

Our partners and suppliers are true artisans of their trade and are helping us to realise our vision of beautiful and state of the art speaker systems.

Production

The essence of our production facility is in our name: “Bottega”, which means artist’s studio or artisanal workshop where often handmade products are made using traditional crafts and skills.

Small-scale production ensures that Salvatore and David give all attention to every pair of speakers we make, where all crossovers, front baffles, leather or Alcantara stitching, etc. are handmade by its founders and skilled craftsmen.

Artisanal and limited production approach also means that we don’t have high overheads to cover, which allows us to price our speakers fairly and offer exceptional value for money to our customers.

We believe this is to be extremely important part of our business because vast majority of our customers paying price for our speakers is actually used for design, engineering, materials and manual labour. Very small proportion our asking price covers various “fees” and overheads. Unfortunately, we have witnessed many times in the speakers’ high-end market sector that fees and overheads became majority of manufacturer’s asking price. (in some cases over 85%).

Our production is carefully optimised to offer “state-of-the-art” quality and transfer all benefits of limited production to our customers, including great value.

Critical listening space

We believe that our speakers must sound “right & proper” in variety of spaces, filling it with deep powerful bass, producing transparent and wide soundstage with warm and natural mids and highs.

That is why we perform laboratory and more importantly listening tests in our workshop, large listening room and a medium sized listening room. We also use a variety of amplifiers and music sources, from valves to solid state, and from analogue tapes and vinyl records to digital streaming in order to fine-tune our speakers’ crossovers and drivers positioning.
